Todd Caldecott

Todd Caldecott is a clinical herbalist and practitioner of Ayurveda, with 25 years of clinical and teaching experience. He has both practiced and taught internationally, bringing students to Nepal to study classical Ayurveda, and in 2014 was the Visiting Mitchell Scholar at Bastyr University.

Todd is a registered professional member of the American Herbalists Guild and the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, and current director of the Dogwood School of Botanical Medicine. He is the author of many articles, research papers, and books including Food As Medicine, Ayurveda in Nepal, and Ayurveda: The Divine Science of Life.

Apart from practicing and teaching, Todd has a diverse background in the field of herbal medicine, which includes product development and botanical research in the non-timber forest products industry.

Todd moved to Powell River in 2019, on his little farm in Wildwood, which now serves as the base for his clinical practice, herbal dispensary, and classroom.
